We are ending our two week stay here at Seal Rock RV Cove in OR. It has been a beautiful two weeks minus one day of rain. Most days were sunny and in the low 60’s with a little bit of overcast, fog, and that one day of pouring rain and high winds.
The park is approximately 10 miles south of Newport and 5 miles north of Waldport on the Central Oregon Coast. There are about 30 RV sites and 11 tent sites. The RV sites have FHU’s with 30amp and some with 50amp. They have good wifi (when we used it) and cable tv. It seemed as though all sites had a picnic table and a fire ring. Some sites have beautiful ocean views, some obstructed, and some just in park view.

They have a small fenced doggy play area and an on leash walking area with clean up bags positioned accordingly. They have an overflow parking area for extra vehicles or boats.

The tent sites we thought were really nice. With vegetation between each site for privacy. Each with 20amp service, picnic table, and fire pit. Not to mention some with views.

The hosts were extremely nice and helpful. We had a couple of Amazon packages delivered with no issues. They sell bundles of firewood. Large garbage dumpsters placed conveniently around the park. The bathrooms and showers were in the middle of the park next to the tenting area. There are no laundry facilities. Our Verizon signal was good most of the time but we were using a booster. The phones were useable but spotty.
There is a Ray’s Grocery Store in Waldport and multiple large stores in Newport. Many restaurants in Newport and a good handful in Waldport. The beach is just a short walk from the campground but a warning that you do have to cross Hwy 101.

Overall we had a great stay while we were here. The food choices we tried and enjoyed were Hilltop Cafe-Bistro, Pacific Sourdough, and Seal Rock Espresso and Bakery. We would certainly stay here again.
